Troop 4 has been continously operating for nearly one hundred years, helping to shape boys into responsible, respectful, and independent young me, while building leaders for the future.

Our Scouts learn many important skills here are just a few - first aid, how plan and cook meals, set-up tents, how to read a map and use a compass, servive alone in the woods, camp in winter, organize and lead a group. These skills and many more will serve them long into their future.

Challenging events build character and creates leaders. Our Scouts have the opportunity to camp out as many as 20 nights , hike over 30 miles each year, white water raft, canou, visit historic sites and much more, all planned and organized by the Scouts themselves.

Want to see what scouting’s all about come to a troop meeting. We meet on Thursdays, from 7:00 – 8:30 at the laurel school at Shepard’s park. If you would like to attend please contact the Troop Scoutmaster.
